Mr. Stephen Osagiede Oronsaye who was the former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over an alleged N240M fraud.
A source said that Oronsaye was arrested around 4pm. Mr. Steve who's already being prosecuted by the EFCC on 24 counts of money laundering was arrested again based on new evidence.
Claims are that the former Civil Service boss abused his position as the Chairman of the Presidential Committee of Financial Action task Force and that without the knowledge of the other committee members he withdrew the N240M from the CBN all in the guise of assisting the committee.
