Adidas ending the sponsorship of IAAF over the doping scandal

The German sportswear Adidas signed an 11 years contract with International Association of Athletics Federations from 2008 - 2019 and if they really end the sponsorship with 4 years left, it could result in tens of millions of dollars in lost income.

They reportedly wrote to the President of IAAF, Sebastian Coe. It was reported that the ongoing corruption and doping scandal has prompted the Adidas team to terminate the contract.

Neither Adidas nor the IAAF has made any comment concerning the issue.
